We were appointed by our client to investigate the potential for improving this prime existing office building on Jermyn Street, including works to improve the main entrance, lifts, reception and end of commute facilities. Planning and Conservation Area consent was granted for the conversion of the flat roof in to a roof terrace, though this would not later be realised.
In collaboration with the client we developed a modern yet respectfully detailed new bronze shopfront facade, with an art-deco stall riser adorned with a strong dentil motif, patterned over-door fascia and large curved glass elements to better compliment the historic Jermyn Street setting.
This greatly improved the connection between the entrance and street, improving the public realm whilst enhancing the appeal of the reception space within. This was in turn refurbished to a design by interior designers Wish.
We worked with Blenheim House Construction to implement this high quality interior design in the new lower ground floor changing rooms and in the complete refurbishment of the first floor. This exemplar floor fit-out can now be implemented by the client through the remaining floors in future as required.
Works were also completed to a redesigned vehicle and bike garage accessed from Apple Tree Yard. All works were completed in 2024.
