Deep Retail Unit Refurbishment

This site sits adjacent to the Sears Retail Park and was previously occupied by Comet. This standalone unit of 31,000 ft² which was originally created by the combining of two units of slightly differing structure, was stripped back to it’s frame, extended upwards by 1.5m and completely re-clad to current standards.This enabled the addition of a lightweight mezzanine floor throughout, accessed by a number of new lifts.

The hard landscaping of the site was also re-arranged and updated to suit the redevelopment. The unit was pre-let to NEXT who were able to add a coffee shop and an exterior garden centre section. The project was completed to budget and handed over to the tenant early.
