For this project the practice was appointed to complete the detailed design of Hazeley School in Milton Keynes. This project was the first phase of a three phase development, which was to provide progressive, modern education facilities for 1500 students as well as additional community facilities.
The school is naturally ventilated using a variety of displacement and stack systems and incorporates a sustainable drainage system for the entire site. The tight time scale led to the use of prefabricated curtain wall panels for the classroom wing to allow early commencement of fitting out works.
This project was carried out as Dunthorne Parker Architects Ltd.
